   BREATH BASICS

      Relaxation techniques for children ages 8-13

 This 4 week program teaches children mindfulness and awareness through relaxation techniques.  

The breath is the key focus and participants will also learn about visualisation as a way to relax and various ways to calm down and react to stress in a positive way and with practice the techniques become second nature. 

The program can be particularly beneficial for those with special needs because it can help to avoid panic, aggression, meltdowns, or tantrums. The ultimate goal is for children to be able to relax quickly when faced with stressful situations. 

The program includes a CD which children receive at the end of the program to continue practicing what they have learnt.  

 WHEN:    4 Sunday sessions

     16th May, 23rd May, 30th May, 6th June

TIME:      2:00pm – 3:00pm

AGES:      8 – 13 years
